Front of the house. Obviously.
View of the sunset from the front door. This isn't even one of the prettier ones. We have fantastic sunsets out here and pictures just can't do them justice.
This is my gorgeous kitchen. I love it. I love it so much. There isn't much more to say about it. The lights in the corner of the picture is the fixture over the dining area. The archway on the left leads to a formal dining room and then on to a formal sitting room, both of which are sitting empty, hence no pictures of them.
This is the living area. It is one LONG room. The shot is taken from the dining area. You can't see, but off to the left is the hallway that goes to the guest bedroom, a bathroom and then the laundry room, which leads out to the garage.

This is a view from the front door to the upstairs, where the other 4 bedrooms are. You may not be able to see, but under the stairs is a little door that goes to a storage area or something of the sort, but the kids call it their "playhouse."

So this is the master suite. Through the archway on the left are the his and her walk-in closets, then the bathroom that has a jetted tub and a rainfall shower with beautiful tile. Sorry no picture. Trust me, it is beautiful.

This is the rest of the master suite. Beyond the fireplace is my scrap booking table. The doors on the left go out to the balcony that runs the entire length of the house.

This is a shot of Will's room. A mess as usual. Sorry no shot of Sadie's room. Nothing special.

Here is Kenzi's room. You can't see it all from the picture, but it is HUGE. You could put two sets of bunk beds in there in addition to her bed. There is also another closet and a bathroom off of it that are not in the picture.

This is a shot from Kenzi's bedroom door. That is a little reading area for the kids in the middle, the master suite is to the left and Sadie's room in the right hand corner and Will's on the right.

This is a view of the back of the house. Unfortunately the backyard is not landscaped yet, but it doesn't stop the kids from playing out there. Thank goodness! But they do usually come back inside covered in the southern Utah red dirt.
So there you have it. That is our home. It is gorgeous and we love it, but I am having a hard time filling all the space, decorating all the walls, and most of all, keeping the dang thing clean! It is so freaking huge! It is at least 3 times bigger than anything we've lived in before.
The lot next to it is empty and for sale to build on. There is a beautiful new house on the other side that is sitting empty. Then the whole road to the east of us is just lots for sale . Someone thought they'd get rich selling land during the real estate boom, but they got started a little too late I guess. But we do have neighbors across from and behind us. I think before my brother and sister-in-law bought this house it was sitting empty for quite some time. So if anyone is looking for a house, there are a lot of beautiful ones available here. Come live in St. George with us!

Congratulations! It is a awesome house.
Is "I hate you" a compliment? I hope you know me well enough to know that it is. I think your house is the size of all the apartments we have ever lived in since we have been married. I am so glad things are going well there. Just a year ago... I miss you.

Your new home is beautiful! Doesn't that make all the past little apartments worth it? Thanks for the pictures :)
Congrats Alysia! I hope you have fun making it yours! The only thing I am not envious of right now is the job you'll have cleaning that sucker! I hope you enjoy every moment of the wonderful thing happening for you!
PS. I was lame and didn't sign up for a google id until now, so I couldn't post on your last blogs... but I sure loved reading them!
It's so beautiful! Congratulations! I know what you mean about keeping it clean. We've lived here 4 months and it still seems overwhelming sometimes . We still only have one picture up in our house. Good luck!
