Halloween pics

I'm not quite sure why all this is underlined and I can't figure out how to fix it. Sorry. What kind of proud mommy would I be if I didn't post pictures of how cute my kids were in their Halloween costumes? So here they are. We had a combined ward "trunk-or-treat" so the kids maximized their candy-gathering by walking car to car. Their bags were full in about 15 minutes. But I thought it would be much more fun to do the traditional door-to-door thing, so we did that too.I seriously took 15 pictures and could NOT get one with him looking at me or smiling. There were just too many distractions around I guess. If you can't tell what it is, his costume was a mouse. He was frantically trying to decide what he was going to be. Mostly he was going back and forth between Superman or Batman, Superman or Batman. So at one point in the day (in the picture me and the kids) he decided to be Superman. He has a reversible Superman/Batman cape, so I put it with the "S" on the back and he looks down and sees black on the inside and freaks out. "Mom! I'm not Batman! I don't want the black on me! Superman's cape is red!" Me- "Yeah- I know, so when people see you from the back they'll see Superman on your cape because Batman is underneath." "No Mom- that's not right. I want it turned around." After trying and trying to explain to him I finally gave up and turned the cape around. A superhero with an identity crisis. From the front he was Superman, from the back he was Batman. By the time we went trick or treating he was done with the cape. Hence, the mouse costume.
Sadie was a giraffe. It didn't take her long to get to the hang of trick-or-treating. She was just so dang happy that people kept giving her candy.
enzi also struggled with the decision of what to be. But when Nana and Papa gave her this Snow White dress for her birthday, that was it. Isn't her bag cute? Nana made one for each of her grandkids and embroidered their names on them. The kids loved them!
This is us at Kenzi's school. They had a Halloween parade around the school for all the parents. I even got into the spirit this year. The kids loved it so much I think I'll have to do a costume every year. Well- it a was a fun Halloween. I hope you all enjoyed yours as much as we did.

The kids look darling in their costumes! Sadie already looks more grown up! Who doesn't like it when people just hand them yummy candy?
