Will turns four

Well, it's been a few weeks ago now that Will had his 4th birthday. I feel bad that we never seem to make a big deal about his birthday because he always seems happy with just a cake and a few presents. You gotta love an easy-going kid. Here he is getting a little help from his cousins and Kenzi to blow out the candles. (If you haven't had Costco cake I recommend you try chocolate cake with chocolate mousse in the middle and cream cheese frosting. :) Hmmmmmm yummy)

He was SO nice about sharing his new Batmobile and other toys with his sisters and cousins. He is capable of being just about the sweetest little boy ever. If only he could maintain that persona consistently. :) haha Really most of the time he does, but those of you that know him well can agree that he has a will of steel. Maybe that's why we named him Will???

What a kid! I can hardly remember what it was like to have him as a baby. Once he was mobile, it was all over. A warning to all mothers with "easy" babies: when they realize they have some control over their life, YOUR life will not be so easy as it was before.
This kid is everything a little boy should be. Most people think he is 2 years older than he really is and sometimes even I have to remind myself that he is only 4. But seriously, is it too much to expect a 4 year old to make it through one day without spilling his drink? haha. I have considered starting a "mess journal" to record all his messes because I don't think anyone would believe me if I told them how much he spills!
Will is an incredible kid. He has the ability to make me smile at any given moment. He can make a new friend in 10 seconds flat. He can do more damage than a tornado in 10 seconds flat. He enjoys being a kid the way every kid should. He reminds me of what it was like to be a kid. I would hope that every mother could have a child like Will. He makes me happy. Happy birthday buddy! Love you!
