Christmas morning magic

Here are a few pictures of the kids on Christmas morning. It was so much fun! The kids were SO into the idea of Santa Claus and Rudolph this year. They tried to stay awake to hear the bells on Santa's sleigh. It was so neat to remember the magic of Christmas from when I was a kid and to see my own kids experiencing it themselves.

Sadie got a baby doll set with a stroller, cradle and carrier from Santa.

Santa brought Will a pirate ship.

And he brought Kenzi a Little Pet Shop.

The kids are all wearing the robes they got on Christmas Eve. We usually give them pajamas, but they have so many already, so I decided to do robes instead this year. They were a big hit.
Here are a few more of the big hits.

I guess it's the western coming out in him. Will LOVES his cowboy boots.

Kenzi got a beautiful holiday porcelain doll from Grandma and Grandpa. She's been very protective of it and has put it on a shelf in her closet where no one can get to it. She was a little disappointed when I told her it might not be so good to play dress-up with it. haha :)

Sadie was diggin' the candy in her stocking and her big stuffed bear from Grandma and Grandpa.
She looks about how I felt at that point of the morning. Luckily, the kids would have played for hours with their new toys, so Joe D. and I were able to catch up on a little bit of sleep before we headed over to Nana and Papa's house to celebrate with them. Pictures of that to come.

Oh yeah- this is our cat Jane. She loved Christmas time almost as much as the kids. It was interesting trying to keep her out of the tree all season. :)

Sam says "Have a happy new year!"

Mia says "Christa treat!" (I don't know what that means either... maybe a mix between Christmas and Halloween?)

Looks like you guys had a fun Christmas!
