Spring FINALLY!

It has been the longest winter of my life. You'd think I would do some blogging during all of that snow, right? Sorry. Nope. I'm not even going to go back and tell you how Christmas break was or what has been going on the past several months. Instead I am going to skip right to the good stuff. It is FINALLY spring here. Yes, that does mean rain, rain and more rain, but it also means green, green and more green. You have to take the bad with the good. The temperature was 82 degrees here today, about 40 higher than St. George (I know....weird) and we took advantage by sitting out on the lawn and getting some vitamin D. Yes- the sun does come out between rain storms. Thank goodness!

Here are a few shots of our 7 month old Tessa. Quick update on her latest news: She has been sitting up on her own for over 6 weeks now and is pretty much to the point where she won't tip over accidentally anymore. Phew! She rolls all over, scoots backwards and gets on her hands and knees, but so far no crawling motions. Hopefully she has another month of immobility because I need to baby proof the house! She still spits up -gross- but not as much as she used to. She is making up for it with copious amounts of drool. She cut her two bottom teeth a month ago and likes to use them to bite and soak whatever gets in her mouth, which is anything she can get her hands on. She LOVES to pull hair, pinch lips or cheeks, tug on earrings and other jewelry, and grab glasses off faces. She has been eating solid food for a month now and her favorite is pears. For a while she was saying "dadadada" which sounded like dad and more recently she has been saying "nananana" which sounds likes nana. I've been trying to get it on video, but she hasn't cooperated thus far. She is a pretty easy going and happy girl. She still sleeps through the night really well and wakes up happy and talkative. She loves her siblings and they can make her smile and giggle in no time. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by and I wish it would just slow down. I am loving these baby days. We can't wait to visit Grandma and Grandpa over Easter and then Nana and Papa over summer break so they can see how big Tessa has grown. We love and miss you all! XOXO

P.S. Today marks the one year anniversary of our move to Indianapolis! Whoa. That is crazy!
