Mud cutie pies

This was what our backyard looked like a few days ago. Since that time, Will has tromped through the mud in every pair of shoes he has. Well, the mud started to dry up and I guess he wasn't very happy with that so he decided to make his own. This is how it went:
Will: Can I put some water in here? (holding Kenzi's play tea pot)
Me: Nope. I really don't want you playing with water right now.
Will: I will just just play with it outside.
Me: (thinking I should at least give him a chance even though ALL my instincts are screaming DON'T DO IT) Okay, only if you promise me you won't make a big mess.
Will: Okay Mom. Thanks. C'mon Sadie!

5 Minutes later. . . . .

So, I just realized that these pictures don't even begin to show how filthy these kids really were. I wouldn't have thought a thing of it, but I had just given them a bath hours before. That is what you get when you don't follow your instincts. Anyone have any good stain-removing tips for southern Utah red dirt? :)

Oh Yuck! I think in Hawaii, they had red dirt shirts people actually paid money for a dirty shirt. Maybe you could set up a stand on the side of the road! I love your posts, keep it up!
