A sequel junkie
I love books. I LOVE them. Check out my shelfari page if you don't believe me. But I have spent too much money on books recently, so I made a promise to myself that I would not buy any more books for the entire year. But then I remembered that the final Twilight book will be out in the fall. So I said to myself, "okay, just that one." Then I remembered that the third Eragon book will be out soon too, so I made another exception. Oh yeah, Fablehaven, Inheart and Temeraire all have books in their series coming out this year too! Why am I addicted to books that come in a series? It really is an addiction. I have to convince myself that it is okay to borrow a book from the library and then return it. There is just something so incredibly satisfying about taking a brand new book home and making a place for it on your shelf. Does anyone else share this problem? Is there a cure?

no. no cure. i have it too. but i never feel guilty about buying a book.
I haven't really looked into how it works, but I just heard about http://bookmooch.com/ where you can trade books with others. If you're looking to save some money, it might be worth a try.
